What are the hours of operation?

Carousel Children's Academy is open from 6:00 am  to  6: 45 pm Monday through Friday.

What ages do you accept?

We accept and specialize in caring for children from birth to 12 years old.

Is there transportation provided for the after-school program?
Yes, we offer transportation from the following Elementary Schools: Baldwin, Haydon, Jenny Dean and Round. Please contact us if your desired school is not in the list.

Do you accept enrollments through VA dept of Subsidies?
Yes, we are fully set up and happy to accept students through VA Subsidy Program. In face we are probably the only center who do not charge any additional fee, over what is paid through the program.

Is lunch provided in the school?
Yes, we provide USDA approved nutritious Lunch as well as AM and PM snacks. This is all included in the monthly tuition.

Do the children go outside to play?
Yes, we have two separate fenced and well equipped  playgrounds for different age groups. We follow Virgina Social Services guidelines for outdoor playtime/activities.

Are there any allergy guidelines that are followed?
CCA is a nut free facility. Any other allergy specific request is also strictly followed based on state guidelines. 

Is the staff trained and qualified?
All of our staff go through state mandated background checks and are also hired in accordance with mandated qualification, training and experience. We have CPR, First Aid and MAT trained staff on premise at all times.
